Peanut Butter Cup Chickpea Smoothie

This smoothie is a whole-food based milkshake to dream about! For anyone who loves that peanut butter flavor- this one's for you. It’s incredibly satiating with over 10g of fiber and 10g of protein, and is a sure way to start the day off with stable blood sugar and lasting energy!

Ingredients (Makes one serving):
1/2 cup cooked chickpeas
1 cup almond milk
1 ripe banana
2 large or 3 small pitted dates
1/2 Tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
Optional cacao nibs for topping
Instructions:
Drain and rinse the cooked or canned chickpeas. Throw all ingredients together in the blender and blend until smooth. Top with cacao nibs for that complete chocolatey PB cup flavor, or enjoy straight up.
